Giving Back

Pitch Wars. So much good writing. So many dreams on the line.

If I could pick 10 entries I would, but since I'm limited to only one mentee and one alternate, I've been thinking of a way I can give something back to each and every one of you.

Because, really, you have all made my day, just by submitting.

So here is a list of writing resources that I hope is helpful in some small way. :)

Best of luck on your writing journey!

My Favorite Writing Books:

The Emotion Thesaurus, by Angela Ackerman and Becca Puglisi
The Positive Trait Thesaurus, by Angela Ackerman and Becca Puglisi
The Negative Trait Thesaurus, by Angela Ackerman and Becca Puglisi
Writing The Breakout Novel Workbook, by Donald Maass
Manuscript Makeover, by Elizabeth Lyon

An Excellent Post on Manuscript Formatting:

  2. I've loved Angela's Emotion Thesaurus since long before it was a book, lol! And now I have it and the Neg Trait one. I probably need more... heh. Love Donald Maass' books, too, and STORY by Robert McKee is a new fave.

Great post on formatting -- thanks!
